North American Science Fiction Convention coming to Detroit next week

Are you an avid science fiction reader? You'll probably be into this: The North American Science Fiction Convention will take place at the Renaissance Center later this month, MLive reports.

This event, billed as "Detcon1," is expected to have nearly 400 unique panels, workshops, demos, talks and readings over four days.

Tickets for the event are $75; children 4-and-under can attend for free, MLive reports.
