Putting Pastor David Bullock on TV might be a challenge. His blazer already can tune in 11 broadcast channels.

Is nothing sacred? That's what we through when we got wind of plans to create a TV reality show based on Detroit's priesthood. Apparently, based on the success of TV's Preachers of L.A., the Oxygen network is now beginning shooting in Detroit. Blue-eyed, big-headed TV executive Rod Aissa showed he can grasp only clichés in his discussions of our complicated town when he told the local press, "It’s an offshoot of Preachers of L.A., but I think the bigger story is Detroit is a city of resurgence." (Yeah, and we think the bigger story of L.A. is meatball-headed television executives who describe everything in 12 words or less.)
Let the pandering begin, as TV crews from the West Coast drop in on our preening sacerdotal class. Truly the wisdom of Hollywood is like the peace of God … in that it passeth human understanding ...
