Elizabeth Streb: Born to Fly documentary featuring Jackie Carlson comes to Detroit

"Action speaks louder than words,” visionary choreographer Elizabeth Streb is known to say when asked about her work.

She'd rather you witness it for yourself:

The documentary on Streb and her philosophy, Born to Fly, is playing at Cinema Detroit, Friday October 3, through Thursday October 9. Tickets are $8, and the Sunday 5:30 showing includes a Q & A with Jackie Carlson, a dancer from Detroit who appears in the film.

Cinema Detroit is located at 3420 Cass Avenue in Midtown.
