Meet the new Metro Times Music Editor, Mike McGonigal

Mike McGonigal is a Detroit newcomer by way of Portland.

He's contributed to Spin, Pitchfork, the New York Press, the Village VOICE, and Artforum, among other publications. He is the author of Temperature's Rising: An Oral And Visual History Of Galaxie 500 and My Bloody Valentine's Loveless (33-1/3). He also founded the fanzine Chemical Imbalance, and edited the arts journal YETI.
