This week's cover story is a deep dive into reporter Charlie LeDuff's propensity for making himself the story. A timely example: Last month, LeDuff chased down a cellphone thief who allegedly tried to pickpocket American Coney Island owner Grace Keros.

Earlier this week, Fox released video footage showing the chase. In the video, you can see LeDuff throw his cup of coffee at the fleeing suspect, 19-year-old Orlando Thomas. You can also see Thomas push Keros, and LeDuff finally tackle him to the ground.

"He swung at me, I ducked," LeDuff testified in court, which can also be viewed in the video. "He picked me up, threw me on the cement. Grace came to help, he pushed her. I got up, he swung again. This time I took him down and held him down. As I held him down he said to me 'I'm gonna kill you motherfucker.'"

Watch the video below, and read up on our LeDuff profile here.
