Looking for a cheap whip? The city of Detroit is set to unload more than 100 abandoned vehicles during a municipal auction on Wednesday, Jan. 10.
The annual auction will take place at 9 a.m. at 5997 Caniff between Mound and Mt. Elliott in Hamtramck, during which time locals can bid on vehicles that range from a 2014 Ford Fusion to a 1978 Chevy Caprice.

, but bidders won't be able to see the cars until the day of the auction.
Upon winning a bid, buyers must provide a $100 non-refundable cash deposit and valid driver's license. The remainder of the cost must also be paid on the day of the auction and the vehicle must be removed from the lot by 5 p.m. or storage fees will be applied at the expense of the vehicle's new owner. All sales are cash-only.
All winning bidders are also required to re-key vehicle at their own expense.
