Ypsilanti Middle School was evacuated this morning following a bomb threat, according to a post on the school district's Facebook page.

According to the district's communications coordinator Taryn Reid, a threat was made on Monday morning. "In all such matters, we assume the threat to be credible then immediately begin evacuation procedures and investigation," she wrote. The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office is taking over the matter, and the school is evacuated until further notice.
