At least that's the conclusion of the folks at Thrillist, who recently ranked America's booziest states from 50 to one by comparing 10 distinct criterion — from per-capita craft breweries to last-call hours. 

How did Michigan fair, you ask?



Quite respectably, indeed.

Standout stat: 109 wineries and vineyards
Solid stats all around, but MI pulled its high rank mostly thanks to its four underage exemptions and high number of vino producers.

These underage exemptions, by the way, are handy if you're a "cool" parent looking for loopholes, or just a kid trying to get your drink on, you know, legally.
