In the winter, we tend to do as little physical activity as possible, preferring to wait out the cold, dark days curled up on the couch, binge-watching episodes of the Walking Dead and eating leftover pizza, but this weekend's Tour de Troit Paczki Run has invigorated us with new life, or at least enough energy to roll off the couch.

For the uninitiated, the gist of the event is this: Run a 5K, get free paczki and beer when you cross the finish line. That's all you really need to know.

Oh, and the race starts at 10 a.m. from Joseph Campau and Hanley in Hamtramck. Registration info and additional deets are here.
