Competitive eating champ Matt Holowicki wins the paczki-eating contest

This just in from PLAV Post 10 in Hamtramck: Competitive eating champion Matt Holowicki set a new record this year, wolfing down 23 paczki in the allotted time, more than his winning total last year of 20.5 paczki in 15 minutes. This is his eighth win in a row. But Holowicki also announced his retirement from this competition, leaving room for perhaps another paczki-packer to step up and participate next year? Better start training now, while the confections are all over!
