When we spoke with Lisa Ludwinski last summer, she was working out of a shared kitchen inside Hannan House in Midtown. Along with putting out delicious pies, cookies, and other tasty confections, she was working on getting together a space on the east side of Detroit. To say Ludwinski is a hard worker is an understatement.
Well, just a few short months later, the day has come and Sister Pie's very own bakery is open. Goods will be served until 6 p.m. this evening. Business hours are Tuesday through Friday 8 a.m. through 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. through 4 p.m. It's located at 8066 Kercheval, Detroit. Check out sisterpie.com for more info.
