If you like wine tasting, you will love this. The Arbor Brewing Company Microbrewery in Ypsilanti just outside of Depot Town is celebrating 10 years with it's annual Velvet Hammer Party on June 4 at noon. The all-day party is an exclusive event to celebrate 10th anniversary and coincides with the release of the Velvet Hammer beer.

The microbrewery, formerly known as Corner Brewery, opened in 2006, following the success of its original ABC location in Ann Arbor. A vintage Velvet Hammer guided tasting will start at 4 p.m. and features six tastings of the latest Velvet Hammer. Light hors d'oeurves will be served during tasting and each person in attendance will receive a signed bottle of Velvet Hammer 10.

Tickets can be purchased for $100 at the brewery of by phone at 734-480-2739. Performers from the Detroit Circus including jugglers, illusionists, and a cartoonist will perform after the tasting. Also, Ypsilanti musician William Marshall will play piano in the lounge and Halcyon Sounds DJs will host a dance party.
