A new concept that includes an Intelligentsia coffee bar and several food options launches tomorrow when the Press Room Cafe and Market opens in the former Detroit News building, which is now a Bedrock property.

Eater reports that Press Room is a concept geared toward downtown's lunch crowd that will house the Intelligentsia along with Mercato by Fabio Viviani. The latter will offer Neapolitan pizzas and other Italian fare like paninis, salad and soups. The Press Room Grill will serve up freshly made sandwiches prepared over a wood burning grill and salads.

Hungry for pizza? Downtown seems to be the place to go all of the sudden with the arrival of Press Room, La Lanterna, Brass Rail Pizza Bar, and Avalon.

Press Room is located at 615 W. Lafayette Boulevard and is open between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. On-the-go items will be offered until 7 p.m.
