For a city with such a macho musical rep, Detroit, thankfully, has never had a shortage of estrogen invigorating the musical bloodstream. Likewise, punk, and even garage rock have, by their nature, been pretty egalitarian (you know, relative to metal, I suppose). Into this context strut Detroit’s Gore Gore Girls who, simply, whup ass. A power trio of the rawest, powerful sort.
