Tomorrow night's Detroit Erotica Ball promises plenty of stimulating entertainment

It’s like prom, but much more adult. So adult, in fact, that you have to be 18 years old with an ID to get in. You also have to have enough taste to pass that velvet rope (no blue jeans, street clothes, or tennis shoes). The mingling and people-watching should be marvelous, with red carpet photos, art on display, strolling hors d'oeuvres, vendors, and more. But there will be plenty to watch on the two stages, including performances by Satori Circus, Dixon's Violin, Miss Holly Hock, and many more, as well as an awards ceremony.

The deviltry starts at 8 p.m., Saturday, May 2, at Bert’s Warehouse Theatre, 2739 Russell St., Detroit; $25 in advance, $35 at the door.
