We thought we'd take a little trip down memory lane today, back to a time when MT was first starting to grapple with this whole "Internet" thing. The above photo is a snapshot of metrotimes.com circa July 2, 2000, a time when it was common practice to list your headlines willy nilly on a page and write feature stories about cell phones and things.

But don't just take our word for it, experience it for yourself on this interactive webpage. Go ahead, click around — you  may even find some familiar names on the masthead.

We welcome readers to submit letters regarding articles and content in Detroit Metro Times. Letters should be a minimum of 150 words, refer to content that has appeared on Detroit Metro Times, and must include the writer's full name, address, and phone number for verification purposes. No attachments will be considered. Writers of letters selected for publication will be notified via email. Letters may be edited and shortened for space.
