Could Tigers manager Brad Ausmus be on the way out?

According to WDIV, a source says that this will be the last season for Ausmus, who is reportedly on thin ice with owner Mike Ilitch after recent mistakes on the field.

Ausmus started on Nov. 3, 2013 following Jim Leyland, who coached the team from 2006-2013. In his first year, Ausmus led the Tigers to a 90-72 record, but now the Tigers are in last place in the division.

According to WDIV's source, former Twins manager Ron Gardenhire is one of the candidates being considered as a replacement.
