Scenes from 1992's Dally in the Alley

Did everyone have a fun Dally in the Alley?

It seems that Saturday's cooler temperatures and light rain didn't stop thousands of visitors from descending upon the Cass Corridor for this year's event. In fact, organizers tell us they ran out of beer and wine this year — a Dally first — and estimate at least 40,000 attendees turned out.

While nursing our Ghettoblaster hangover Sunday, we stumbled on this video montage shot at 1992's Dally. While the festival's production values have improved since then (thanks, North Cass Community Union!), it seems like the spirit of the attendees is still the same. (Also, some of the fashions seen below are back in vogue today.)

Enjoy the nostalgic video, and see you next year.
