The concept of a dinner-and-a-movie date might be a little cliche, but Michigan-based Emagine Entertainment recently breathed new life into the idea.
After a trail run, they're rolling out a dine-in movie option that allows guests to order from the comfort of their luxury recliner. Coined Dine 'N View, the concept will launch officially at their Royal Oak location on July 10.
According to a press release, options will include pizza, sliders, nachos, fish and chips, and salads (that should be fun to eat in the dark). The Royal Oak location already has a full kitchen, making this amenity a natural extension of their offerings.
Food will be delivered to guests who will also be able to pay for their dinner from their seat. Servers will also be available to deliver beer and cocktails as well as for refill runs, according to the press release.
For now, all Dine 'N View movies will be relegated to auditorium 10 at the Royal Oak location and movie listings will be marked to reflect the option.
Because not everyone likes to smell fried chicken while enjoying the latest summer blockbuster, Emagine will also offer non-Dine 'N View film screenings of all movies.
