Mambo Marci to give salsa lessons in Detroit tomorrow night

The Cube, an event space located across the atrium from Orchestra Hall within the Max M. Fisher Music Center, hosts a slew of unique events including a popular yoga series plus concerts and dance parties. Their widely attended Salsa Dance Party will return and this time it will feature dance lessons with the award-winning Latin dancer and instructor Mambo Marci. After instructing attendees, Marci will open up the dance floor and Cuban ensemble Descarga-ranga will provide live music. Food and drink specials begin at 10 p.m.
The party takes place on Thursday, Aug. 31 and starts at 9 p.m.. The Cube is located at 3711 Woodward Ave., Detroit. For more info you can call  313-576-5111 or go to dso.org. Tickets are $15.
