This is not a drill. 98 Degrees is back and — oh my god why do we care? Oh, right. Because it’s 98 Degrees, that’s why! While it may be teetering on arctic temps outside, leave it to a middle-aged boyband to warm things up. Chalk it up to nostalgia and simpler times, but the return of 98 Degrees is the reunion we need. Celebrating their 20th anniversary with the release of their second Christmas album, Let It Snow, Nick Lachey, his brother, and those other two guys will bring the heat and holiday kitsch.
98 Degrees will perform Sunday, Dec. 17 at 7:30 p.m. at Soundboard; 2901 Grand River Ave., Detroit; 313-309-4700; soundboarddetroit.com; Tickets start at $43.
