Ready! Set! Draw! MOCAD’s 5th annual Monster Drawing Rally is both a public event and fundraiser featuring 70 artists… but there’s a catch. All eyes are on the artists who will be given two one-hour shifts to draw in front of a live audience. MOCAD’s annual event exposes an otherwise private process behind the madness. From watercolors, ink, acrylic, and collage, artists will have their pick of materials and mediums to turn an idea into a piece of art. Each piece of art will be available for purchase for $40.
The Monster Drawing Rally will take place on Friday, Dec. 15 at MOCAD and begins at 6:30 p.m.; 4454 Woodward Ave.; 313-832-6622;mocadetroit.com; Admission is $10.
