Legendary David Bowie to be honored with tribute concert at DIA

Calling all starmen and starwomen! The sun machine is coming down and there's going to be a tribute of Ziggy proportions.

As part of their ongoing free concert series, Friday Night Live, the Detroit Institute of Arts will host a David Bowie tribute concert on Friday, Dec 29.



Phil Hale, James Simonson, Chris Codish, Skeeto Valdez, Paul Randolph, Bobby East, Dylan Dunbar, and Jennifer Westwood will come together with some special guests to present songs by the late icon who passed away from liver cancer Jan. 10, 2016.

Performances begin at 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
