It's that beautiful time of year again when we celebrate the best the city has to offer! The Metro Times Best of Detroit Party returns Friday, Aug. 24 to celebrate the best metro Detroit restaurants, bars, clubs, businesses, entertainment, and more.

We're taking the party to the water this year! The party starts at 6:30 p.m. at Detroit's Roostertail. Entertainment includes triple headliners Rio & the Rockabilly Revival, Beggars, and the Reefermen; burlesque performances from the fabulous Miss Holly Hock, Ada Vice, Leena Allure; additional music from DJ Danny D; food from more than 20 restaurants; and specialty cocktails.

General admission tickets include entry, bites from more than 20 restaurants, and five drink tickets. Tickets are $35 through Aug. 23, or $50 day of the party. VIP tickets are $55 through Aug. 23 and include VIP entrance, valet parking, VIP swag bag, exclusive VIP bar, food, and seven drink tickets.
