Not all heroes wear capes — but a lot of them do, and a lot of them fancy themselves residents of the Marvel Universe. While villain Thanos may have flexed his destructive big dick energy during this summer’s blockbuster Avengers: Infinity War, heroes will have the last laugh when Marvel Universe Live! resurrects our favorite band of good guys for a race against time. Watch the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man, and Doctor Strange as they fight to recover the Wand of Watoomb from bad boy Loki’s hands.

Rest in power, Stan Lee.

Marvel Universe Live begins at 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 15, 11 a.m., and 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 16, 11 a.m., 3 p.m., and 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, and noon and 4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 18 at Little Caesars Arena; 2645 Woodward Ave., Detroit; 313-471-7000; 313presents.com; Tickets start at $15.
