It may not be earth-shattering news, but it is blowing our mind. We're not high; you're high.
In a world where Amazon's Alexa is listening to everything you say to better cater to your every want and need, and Detroit now has its own very prominent Church of Scientology
, as it turns out, even pizza has a friggin' agenda, man. While the Little Caesars headquarters struggles with its 102 pizza, slice-shaped windows
, the home of the budget-friendly Hot-N-Ready has some crazy (bread) marketing genius behind their design.
Reddit user PorcupineTree-
, who may or may not have been high at the time of this discovery, pointed out some serious design porn — the letters "L" and "C" make up the trim design on the mascot's toga. In other words, "EAT OUR PIZZA, PIZZA!" "One of us. One of us. One of us."
Feel dumb? Don't, because this wasn't always the case. Previous variations of the logo feature a simple square pattern and later a squiggly "G" shaped design. The original logo, a variation of our beloved lil
dude, was allegedly sketched on a napkin
after the original location opened its doors in 1959.
So what does it all mean? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
